Today was a great day I had the day off and got soooo much done!! I deep cleaned the entire apartment and it looks great. I was never a fan of cleaning anything growing up but its so much easier to clean when you kind of have a reason too. I love to see my husbands face when he comes home to a clean apartment! I've always heard a clean home is a happy home... and after the last 5 months of being married I totally know that that's true. After I cleaned the house I sat on the couch and tried to decide what to have for dinner.. I couldn't think of anything and I always make the same like 10 things so I went online for like and hour and a half to find something to make when I finally had a craving for biscuits and gravy! I was super excited and soon found a crackle barrel white gravy recipe that sounded and looked amazing and then found a homemade buttermilk biscuit.. so I went with it. the buttermilk biscuits were AMAZING and I will definitely be doing that again. The gravy wasn't such a success I mean it came out fine but it was a longgg process. As I was making it, it tasted bland and I was so mad! So I decided to put more salt in and that didn't quite work out. I shook the salt thing to hard and the gravy was sooo salty and I started freaking out and told Dave he wasn't allowed to eat it and I was almost in tears so I googled how to fix a salt catastrophe and it told me to just put more of the other ingredients. And that didn't work so well so I checked another link that said to put a little sugar in it... and it worked out and turned out to be sooo goood!!! I took pictures and was so excited to put them up but my camera has a micro memory card and I can't find the converter dang it... Anyway, you all should have biscuits and gravy tomorrow it was soo yummy, just be careful with the salt ;) Now I have a husband to snuggle and t.v watch :)

Intro.

The first thing to know about me is I LOVE blogs... LOVE them.. I can spend hours just looking at blogs. All of my friends know that and many of them have told me to just start my own. But I didn't feel like I had a super significant life that would be of interest to anyone or that would help anyone like all of the blogs that I read. But I know that this blog will help me document my life and my adventures and those are important to me.
My blog will mainly be about important events in our lives, my adventures in the cooking world. I love to try new things and am so excited to show everyone my accomplishments.
I started this blog kind of late and have to do the dishes but I'll help you get to know us a little better first.

Dave
 - Finishing up his last two semesters in his bachelor program in Idaho.
 - Hoping to get into a Physician Assistant Program after his bachelors.
 - Loves sports. (esp. Syracuse University Basketball and The MLB team the Cincinnati Red's)
 - Works at a gas station twice a week and almost everyday on campus in whats called The Wellness Center
 - Very kind, loving and patient :)
 - The love of my life!!
 - Really enjoys movies

Julie
- Putting of my education and working while Dave finishes his bachelors.
- Plans on studying Dental Assisting when we move back East.
- Works at Little Caesar's in a very small town saturated with A TON of poor college kids who just love pizza so my works days are actually very busy. And a side note the Little Caesar's I work at is very clean and I work with a lot of amazing people ( its not your average Little Caesar's).
- I love reading blogs!!!
- I like to cook, its something I never ever thought about doing before I got married and it was on of the things I was most afraid of... But I love it :)
- I was diagnosed and have been living with Multiple Sclerosis since January of 2011 and have been doing quite well.. I have over the past two years only had one severe and life altering flare up so that's really good :)

That's just a little bit about us but I know there will be much more to come. Until next time,
